Thank you for joining us and agreeing to submit a shareholder proposal to advance genocide-free investing.

Follow these steps for each mutual fund (or investment firm)

  1. Click here to get a Microsoft Word document with the text of the cover letter and the proposal.
  2. Edit the text of the letter to include your information in the highlighted areas.
  3. Print the letter and proposal and sign the letter.
  4. Attach a copy of a financial statement from the investment firm (or whatever agent administers your account) showing that you’ve held at least $2,000 worth of that fund for at least one year.
  5. Send the letter, proposal, and the copy of the statement(s) to the investment firm by certified mail return receipt requested or certified mail with electronic receipt, at the address listed on our company contacts page.
  6. Send a copy of the cover letter to us at Investors Against Genocide, 22 Spring Street, Lexington, MA 02421.   Please provide your phone information so that we can contact you as we get news about the shareholder proposals. (There is no need to send us a copy of your financial statement!  Similarly, you can black out the details of your shareholdings in the copy of the letter you send to us.)
  7. Contact us when you get a response, whether positive, negative, or informational, from the mutual fund (or investment firm). We are particularly interested in proxy notices and dates for shareholder meetings.
